This acrylic-on-canvas painting by Hoe Yen Tam depicts Moses and the burning bush. Moses is taking off his sandals, backlit by the burning bush. Most paintings place the bush to the side but I felt if placed behind the human figure, it provides a beautiful backlight and chiaroscuro. This piece is perfect as a mantelpiece.
