Wisdom of Love. Wisdom is not just knowledge; it is about making right choices in life. It is a way of life. It constitutes one’s powers of reasoning, reflecting, evaluating and decision making. Love can best be summed up in the biblical verse from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things.” Selah means to ‘pause’ or ‘reflect’. It is often quoted as ‘to think and act on this (these things)’. Thus to reflect on Wisdom of Love.
