This 1946 Royal Arrow was a lower-end model but a favorite of Hemingway. His is still sitting on the writing table down in his former Key West, Florida home. This little Arrow doesn't have fancy functions--it even lacks a tab key--and it makes you question how sophisticated a tool you really need to write well. The Arrow is just a well made, serviceable machine. It is the classic typewriter.
