Get well soon and flowers? Um, no. My hysterectomy was one of the best things that ever happened to my uterus. Seriously. It caused pain every month for 30 years, couldn't get pregnant, and never did anything good for me. Then, cancer. Now, I celebrate my "hysterversary" every year.
