Diet culture has become a pervasive part of life with the usage and normalization of phrases such as clean eating, good foods, bad foods, shred, cleanse, detox and cheat day. It determines a person’s value or worthiness based on their weight, shape and size. The toxic language and messages that underpin diet culture do not support a healthy relationship with food or a positive self-image. This design has been created with the hope of raising awareness of, and challenging, diet culture in today’s society.
