Herb Bouquet Mug
Bouquet garni, a classic French blend of aromatic herbs added to flavor soups, stews and stocks.
4 sprigs fresh Thyme or 1 tsp dried
4 sprigs fresh Parsley or 1 T dried
1 Bay Leaf, fresh or dried
1 sprig fresh Sage (optional) or ½ tsp dried
Tie fresh ingredients together with cooking string or tie dry ingredients in cheesecloth bundle. Drop into simmering pot. Remove before serving. Other options include adding whole Black Peppercorns, Rosemary or Marjoram. Bundles of dried Bouquet garni make welcome gifts. Enjoy!
