A beautiful print of "The Lady of the Manor" an 1880 watercolor and gouache painting by Helen Allingham. Allingham (1848 - 1926) was an English watercolor painter and illustrator who became the first woman to be admitted as a full member of the Royal Watercolour Society. Allingham completed several landscapes as well as portraits and was a lifetime friend of Kate Greenaway, the renowned children’s book illustrator and author.
