Corduroy in the Caribbean (Cat in hammock) Coffee Mug
Initially brought to the shelter as a stray, Corduroy was a volunteer favorite whose FIV+ status kept him at the shelter far longer than other cats. In the past, the Oakland Animal Shelter transferred FIV+ cats to rescue partners. With progressive changes in shelter policies, Corduroy made history when he became the first FIV+ cat to be adopted directly from the Oakland shelter. Though he waited a long time, Corduroy now leisurely hangs in a hammock in southern California, with a family who adores him. All proceeds from the sale of this product go to the Friends of Oakland Animal Services.
