Billy the Kid Pat Garrett Mug

Everybody knows about Billy! William H. Bonney, better known as Billy the Kid and also known as William Antrim among other alias’s. He was a 19th-century outlaw who participated in the Lincoln County War. Arguably the most famous and enduring outlaw of the American Old West. Legendary outlaw of Lincoln County New Mexico. Member of "The Regulators". Shot and killed by Pat Garrett at Ft. Sumner New Mexico at the age of 21 on the night of July 14th 1881. His last words were "quien es?, quien es? (who is it?). Pictured here with his .41 caliber Colt Thunderer. Patrick Floyd "Pat" Garrett was an American Old West lawman, bartender, and customs agent who became famous for killing Billy the Kid. Pictured here with his Colt Frontier Revolver. Legendary Lincoln County Sheriff who shot and killed Billy the Kid on the night of July 14th 1881. The cause of Pats death has been highly controversial. Four suspects have been named. His death certificate states he was shot by rancher Jesse Wayne Brazel. But four other suspects include Carl Adamson, W.W. "Bill" Cox, a fella named Rhodes and possibly Jim Miller (Killer Jim Miller "The Deacon" who is considered the wild wests first professional gun for hire) have been named. In any case Pat Garrett was murdered. All over some land leases and cattle disputes.
