The Jamaican Yams are a set of original Auntie Karen cartoon characters. Auntie Karen original cartoon characters are the brainchild of Karen Alexander. All the characters are musical and entrepreneurs. The Jamaican Yams are a reggae band called Provisions. They can be heard playing at the Hut in Jamaica, the spot owned by Yams: Yusef and Yolanda. The Jamaican Yams consists of Yusef (Dad), Yolanda (Mom), Whipper (Son), Mya (Daughter), Gordon (Friend) along with Miles (Gordon’s Dog) and Cousin Zetta.
