Microorganisms are extremely diverse, they are everywhere around us, but they are too small to be seen in a normal view. They live in almost every habitat on our planet, from the poles to the equator, deserts, geysers, rocks, and deep oceans. Some are even adapted to extreme conditions, such as very hot or very cold, high pressures or even high radiation environments. Here is our own version of these fantastic living things that are so important to our health, but can also make us get sick.
