Established in 1866. Lead by Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer during the Indian Wars & his ultimate sacrifice at the Battle of the Little Bighorn on June 26, 1876. The 7th Cavalry endured to fight another day. The 7th was also involved in the Mexican Expedition, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf War & Iraq War.
