Here's a gorgeous 72 Ordnance Battalion patch that was worn by soldiers in Miesau, Germany until the 1980's. This original, hand-painted design is the subdued version. When you see it up close and in person you'll note that this digital painting is a nearly flawless depiction of the 72nd Ord. patch. Believe it or not, the detail was so closely color matched and meticulously done that it took over 6 hours to render this image!
