2/34th Armor Cambodian Invasion VSR Tank Mug
This mug commemorates Operation Rockcrusher, the 1970 incursion into Cambodia, by the Dreadnaughts of the 2/34th Armor whose M483 Patton tanks, opcon to the 2/47th Infantry (Mechanized), led the way into Cambodia. Together,the M48 tanks and M113 tracks were the first of 33 U.S. maneuver battalions to cross into the Parrot's Beak region of Cambodia on May Day, 1970. This operation came to be known, especially in military circles, as the best conducted operation of the war.
